Returns Policy

Flat Rate Delivery

Flat rate delivery option only applicable to mainland areas of Australia. Customer orders from Tasmania, Fraser Island and off-shore island will be contacted and other delivery options will be discussed. These options may include a charge added to the order for delivery or a full refund.

Delivery Of Your Products

Your Products should usually be delivered within 7 working days (depending on delivery location) in most cases delivery will be much quicker.

Feel free to request a delivery date, however, do not consider this to be your exact date as we do not control our couriers and can never give a 100% exact date.

If ordering a product marked "Pre-Order", delivery time is open ended and is entirely dependent on stock availability with our suppliers.

The estimated delivery times exclude Saturday, Sundays and Australian and NSW Public holidays.

We make every effort to ship your order strictly as per estimated delivery times provided, however, estimated ship times may change due to changes in supply, or circumstances beyond our control. If your order has not arrived after the estimated delivery time,please contact us.

You can also keep track of the delivery status of your Products under the “My Account” section on this website.

Unless agreed otherwise, we will deliver your Product(s) to the address as indicated on your Order Confirmation. If the carrier does not find anyone at that address, a calling card will be left with details of how to arrange another delivery time.




You will be solely responsible for any loss to the Product after delivery.

You will be the sole owner of the Product after its delivery.

Rejected Deliveries / Return To Sender Scenarios

Once an order has been dispatched, the customer will be issued with tracking / consignment details for the parcel(s) delivery by the associated freight carrier. It is the customers responsibility to track the parcel with,Toll IPEC Couriers  (or other) and identify if any failed delivery attempts by the freight carrier have occured. In the event of failed delivery attempts, it is the customers responsibility to make contact with the freight carrier in response to the attempted delivery cards left and organise for a suitable delivery day and time for successful delivery.

In the unlikely event that the parcel is returned to sender, the parcel will not be re-dispatched until postage has been repaid by the customer to cover the cost of sending the parcel again. In this instance Cheap Bargains reserves the right to withhold re-dispatch until postage payment has been paid again. If the customer does not wish to repay for postage for re-dispatch of their order they have the option to cancel their order and receive a full refund for their order less a $15 restocking fee and less postage costs associated with the rejected return of the parcel back to Cheap bargains.

Order Changes and Cancellations

Changes and cancellations are permitted as long as the original order has not been sent. We strongly urge all of our customers to please choose carefully and place your order only when you are completely ready.
Please consider that if you do wish to cancel your  order a cancellation fee may apply. This depends on a variety of circumstances but will never be more than 20% of the total product value, including delivery.

Return Policy

At, we pride ourselves on being flexible and fair. We have adopted a returns policy which is outlined below that is consistant with the laws set by the ACCC and the NSW Department of Fair Trading. We reserve the right to decline a claim for a refund in cases that do not involve misrepresentation of product or product faults. Please be aware that time restraints do apply and should you have a concern with your product you should notify us immediately. 

The following information is taken directly from the NSW Department of Fair Trading website. (all items that are italicised are added by to clarify the more ambiguous statements.

Refund, repair or exchange

You have the right to ask the seller for your money back if the product you bought:

  • doesn't work (known as a DOA. All manufacturers have a DOA policy and timelines do apply. You must notify us immedately if the product fails out of the box)
  • breaks down or develops a serious fault soon after you buy it (generally within 14 days but this can vary dependant on product and manufacturer)
  • is different from the description you were given

If any of these things happen to the product you buy the seller should give your money back if you return it with the receipt. Alternatively you may agree to exchange the product or have it fixed. (because of the distance of our store from most of our customers it is better for the customer to contact the manufacturer directly for all faults to arrange for a local repair or repair agent to come inspect the machine. This is the quickest and less-costly way of your getting your item back up and running)

IMPORTANT - Always keep your receipts, at least until the warranty period is up. You never know when something might go wrong.

When you CAN’T get your money back
The seller does not have to give your money back if you:

  • change your mind about a product (eg. if you don't like the colour or it isn't the right size)
  • knew, or should have known about a fault before you bought it
  • don't have proof that you bought it (eg. a receipt)
  • broke or damaged the product by being careless or not following the instructions.


IMPORTANT - It is illegal for sellers to mislead you about products or use high-pressure selling tactics.

What if you just don’t want it?

Let's say you buy a jumper for your mother but when she tries it on, it's the wrong size. If there's nothing actually wrong with the jumper you're not entitled to get your money back. Some large stores have a 'no hassles' refund or exchange policy and will gladly let you change the size or get your money back. But remember this is up to the store.

Credit voucher

You may be offered a credit voucher (also known as a credit note) if you change your mind about a product or no longer want it. The voucher allows you to spend a certain amount of money at the same store, usually in a set period of time. Make sure you check the terms and conditions of the credit voucher and take note of the expiry date.


Manufacturer Only Warranty for all products

Some Products that are advertised and sold with manufacturer’s warranty on Cheap Bargains are the liability of the manufacturer or supplier if it’s found to be defective or DOA. Cheap bargains advise you to contact the manufacturer or supplier in the first instance for replacement or repair under the warranty terms. If extended warranty has been purchased, after the expiration of the manufacturers warranty, it is the customers obligation to contact extended warrenty insurer
